Delaware's John Dickinson: The Constant Watchman of Liberty was published recently as a joint effort of the Friends of John Dickinson Mansion, the Delaware Department of State, and the Delaware Heritage Commission commemorating the 250th anniversary of the publication of the Dickinson's Letters from a Farmer in Pennsylvania to the Inhabitants of the British Colonies. Edited by John Sweeney, long-time editorial page editor of the (Wilmington) News Journal, it is a collection of articles on Dickinson's writings and influence on American democracy before, during, and after the Revolution.

The 186-page book is beautifully printed and magnificently illustrated. It belongs in every Delaware history buff's library. It can be purchased from the Administration Shop Delaware.
